  Article 81-Offences of intent to cause property destruction  
81.1 Intent to cause property destruction  
  Intent to cause property destruction is when a person is shown to have both means and intent to damage another person's property in a serious way to such an extent that the cost of repairing or replacing the item is greater than half the value to which it was insured or purchased at the time of the offence.  
 
 Primary Fact(s)
 1. That the property has not been destroyed or seriously damaged;
 2. That certain actions of the accused were done with the intent to cause destruction or serious damage to the property;
 3. That if these actions of the accused had of been carried through to their end, the property would have been destroyed or seriously damaged.
