  Article 89-Offences involving intoxication and alcohol consumption  
89.1 Intoxication and alcohol consumption  
  Intoxication is the condition of being drunk as the result of drinking alcoholic beverages.
 
 
 Primary Fact(s)
 1. That the accused was arrested on suspicion of being intoxicated; and
 2. That lawful regulations exist regarding the safe consumption of alcohol in public; and
 3. That upon testing the accused alcohol blood content, it did breach the lawful limit for safe alcohol consumption.
 
 
 Penalty Conditions (Level 1-Crime)

a) found to be intoxicated beyond legal limits in a public place, not in operation of a machine and over the age of 18;
