4. Military responsibility
 
  Article 23-Limitation on indictments  
23.1 Limitation on indictments  
  Offence indictments may be presented within these limits, and not afterward:  
  (1) no limitation  
  a) all offences involving homicide of a human being;
b) all offences involving sexual assault, if during the investigation of the offense biological matter is collected and subjected to forensic DNA testing and the testing results show that the matter does not match the victim or any other person whose identity is readily ascertained;
c) any offense involving sexual assault of a person under the age of 14 yrs, regardless of existence of DNA evidence;
d) all offences against military justice involving fugitives from justice, deserters and all outstanding matters concerning charges/sentences with those fugitives;
e) all offences against the state.
 
  (2) fourteen years from the date of the commission of the offense:  
  a) all offences against a human being not involving sexual offences or homicide ;
b) all sexual offences, except where medical evidence has been collected at or around the immediate time of the offence, or sexual assult of a person under 14 yrs;
c) all other property related offences.
 
  (3) seven years from the date of the commission of the offense:  
  a) all offences against the code of conduct;
b) all offences against the code of combat;
