| Police officers have the unique right of arrest, whereby the courts and the law empower them to arrest people suspected of committing a crime or wanted in questioning related to a crime. | ||
| 21.2 | Right of lawful arrest protected as an offence under Article 107 of Criminal Code | |
| Article 107 of the Criminal Code supports law enforcement officials rights to lawful arrest of a suspect and makes it an offence to resist such lawful arrest. | ||
